"With the introduction of the KassenSichV in Germany, all cash registers had to be adapted to the new requirements. To avoid having to implement the requirements and time-consuming exports ourselves and to avoid having to worry about fiscalization in the long term, we sought cooperation with a partner. The connection to the efsta middleware was implemented using the so-called "file watcher" method. To do this, we place a file in a folder specified by EFR. This folder is monitored by the EFR, then the data is fiscalized and reported back in a fraction of a second. The implementation in our own Smart4Cash cash register software (www.Smart4Cash.de) was simple, the support from efsta was excellent and the project was implemented after just a few weeks."
