The new e-invoicing reform in France requires companies to send and receive structured electronic invoices (B2B) and to report certain transaction data to the tax authorities (B2C and international B2B companies). This directly affects POS, ERP, and PMS providers.
Phase 1 – September 2026:
All companies must be able to receive e-invoices. Large and medium-sized companies must begin sending e-invoices and submitting e-reporting data.
Phase 2 – September 2027:
All remaining companies (small, medium, and micro-enterprises) must comply with the sending requirements. Additional transaction types, including reverse charge and intra-Community acquisitions, will become subject to reporting requirements.
The French e-invoicing reform affects every company doing business in France—from issuing and receiving electronic invoices (B2B) to reporting transaction data (B2C and international B2B). Given the approaching deadlines, a compliant solution is essential.
E-Invoicing (B2B) and E-Reporting (B2C, international B2B) are covered in one integrated solution that builds on your existing EFR setup. No need to manage multiple platforms or separate integrations – everything runs through a single, proven compliance layer.
efsta partners with Iopole, an approved and accredited Plateforme Agréée in France. Iopole handles the certified E-Invoicing and E-Reporting processes, ensuring full regulatory compliance – without additional vendor management on your side.

E-invoicing involves the electronic exchange of structured B2B invoices between French companies via an approved platform (Plateforme Agréée). E-reporting involves the submission of certain transaction data – such as B2C sales and international B2B transactions – to the French tax authorities. Both are part of the French reform, and both are covered by efsta’s solution.
