Senior Business Development Manager | E-Invoicing (m/f/d)

Would you like to play a key role in further developing our e-invoicing solution?

We are seeking experienced professionals with extensive expertise in sales or business development—ideally in the fields of finance, taxation, and/or software—who are ready to take on responsibility and actively contribute to market development. Due to our dynamic international growth, we are creating a new key position in the Business Development department.

In this role, the focus is on the strategic development and international positioning of e-invoicing solutions.

Location: Steyr or Munich

Working model: Hybrid

Full-time

Salary: starting at €60,000 gross per year (depending on qualifications and experience; we are willing to pay significantly above market rate + variable component)

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for the further development and implementation of the e-invoicing strategy in close coordination with C-level management
  • Identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities in the areas of e-invoicing and digital document processes
  • Close collaboration with Product Management to translate regulatory and technical requirements into marketable value propositions
  • Management and reporting on sales and marketing projects, including analysis of progress and challenges, taking customer feedback into account
  • Conceptualization and creation of sales-supporting content (presentations, market analyses, white papers, webinars, success stories, sales enablement)
  • Representing the company at trade shows and conferences, as well as hosting webinars, product demonstrations, and workshops for customers and partners
  • Technical support and coaching for business development managers on strategic and sales-related issues in the e-invoicing sector
  • Contributing to strategic client acquisition, tenders, and major projects

Your qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in sales of e-invoicing/ERP products is required
  • Experience in the software, tax tech, ERP, or e-invoicing industry is essential
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., Factur-X)
  • Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in German and English is required
  • High degree of independence and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
