From 1 January 2026, Croatia will introduce fiscalization 2.0. Among other things, mandatory digital invoicing (e-invoices) will become compulsory for B2B transactions.
The reform builds on the B2C fiscal system from 2013 and is intended to modernise business processes, create transparency and reduce tax fraud through real-time access by the tax authorities to invoice data. The elimination of paper documentation and certain tax forms will also reduce the administrative burden. The reform is expected to simplify compliance and support more efficient financial management.
