The efsta EFR: One-time implementation, limitless fiscal solutions

We are pleased to introduce the redesigned efsta documentation page - your central source for all important information regarding the connection and use of our solutions.

New efsta documentation page

The efsta EFR (electronic fiscal register) offers you as a POS system manufacturer an innovative way to fiscalise transactions in a country-specific and legally compliant manner - with minimal effort - we call this compliance as a service!

The process is very simple: You send transaction data to the efsta EFR, which automatically converts it and prepares it for the respective country. You can also find a current list of which countries we fiscalise in compliance with the law on our documentation page.

Here are a few vivid examples of where and how we meet country-specific requirements:

  • Example Germany: The transaction data is provided in accordance with the requirements of the DSFinV-K (Digital Interface of the Financial Administration for POS Systems).
  • Example Austria: The transaction data is exported as DEP export (data recording protocol).
  • Norway: A SAF-T data export is provided.
  • Further examples are explained in the "Country Specific Guides" chapters in the documentation.

Your added value as a POS system manufacturer with efsta: You integrate the efsta EFR once into your POS system and benefit from the fact that as a second step you only have to carry out the country-specific adjustments - this significantly reduces your development efforts.

With the introduction of efsta EFR version 2.5.x, a uniform interface has been fully implemented. This enables smooth and efficient integration for all currently available countries as well as for all future implementations - always one efsta API. Of course, the previous versions are also backwards compatible.

Use our new documentation to check your current efsta implementation. Due to the constant further development as well as changes in the laws and the permanent further development of our API, now is the ideal time to do so. Keep in mind that in Germany the obligation to report POS systems is in the starting blocks and the legally required DSFinV-K export has also been adapted over the years based on changes in the law.

Our implementation checklist is also available to you at any time - please use this offer to check legally compliant implementation! Support is available at: ticket@efsta.eu
